GrassRoutes Portland: An Urban Eco Guide (GrassRoutes Travel) Reviewas a relocated portland native, upon planning a recent trip back to the area, i decided to pick up this guide to find some new places to enjoy. did this guide ever deliver!
i quite enjoyed a lot of new information about some familiar joints, but was thoroughly pleased to read about some new places as well. it's great to find a guide that focuses on local and sustainable businesses (and features some great hole in the wall locations).

the only reason i gave this four stars instead of five was that i found it to be a restaurant-heavy guide. while i do understand that dining out is a huge part of travel, i would still have preferred the ratio be evened out a bit.
