Like Sands Through The Hourglass ReviewFrom the moment I started this book, I haven't been able to put it down. The instant I finished it, I started reading it over again. Bill and Susan Hayes, the darlings of Days of our Lives, have put forth not only their own love story, but so many stories from Days and other areas of show business. I loved reading about the early days of television and Your Show of Shows with Sid Caesar and Imogene Coca, funny stories about Leonard Bernstein, and heartwarming memories of close friendships that develop after working day in and day out on a soap opera. Bill's memories of his early childhood in a close-knit musical family and Susan's tales of growing up in a boarding house with her mother and grandmother only make these two wonderful actors seem more real and easy to be with. This book is funny, heartwarming, and honest. If you are a fan of Days of our Lives, you will love it. If not, give it a try.
